You are walking down your street one day when you hear a roar of people somewhere nearby. As you approach the source of the noise, you see what a appears to be a green mountain-right in the street. Upon closer inspection, you see that what you thought was a green mountain in the street is actually a massive pile of money. You can't tell from where you are, but it appears that all denominations may be in the stack of money. The pile is about 50 feet high and about a hundred feet wide.
Once you have figured out what the roaring was about and that there was an untold amount of cash in a giant pile, you then wonder the obvious: why isn't anyone diving into the pile!
You hear an announcement over a loud speaker somewhere in the immediate vicinity...
" Attention people! The pile of cash in front of you all contains an estimated 100 million dollars. You may take as much money as you can take on your person and there are no second trips to the pile. However, know this-each bill is contaminated with a toxin which will absolutely kill each and every one of those who come into contact with the cash: whether by touch, smell, sight or other. How long it will take to kill you is completely dependent upon how much of the cash that you take. The exact breakdown of cash taken and time until death is completely unknown. The toxin penetrates all known materials, including lead, gold and all other precious metals and has no known shelf-life. That is, it is not known if the toxin will ever be safe to touch. That is all."
After the recording stops, you look around to see if anyone else is jumping into the pile. Many of them are looking back at you for the same reason.
What will you do?
