Hey! Welcome to the "How to get banned" section. Here, we discuss, briefly, the things you should not do and/or say while at this forum. The list is not all-inclusive, that is to say, there may be other ways to become banned here which we forgot to mention. As a general rule, we figure that if you are smart enough to play Nintendo games and subscribe to a forum, you ought to be smart enough to know what to do and what not to do while in a civil environment such as this forum. That said, here are a few quick "go to" hard and fast rules to follow while hanging out here:
1) No bad language!
We can always hear that somewhere else can't we? Seriously, do not display your ignorance here by using inappropriate language/words. I truly do not believe that there is anyone, anywhere, who comes here so that they can read bad words. Let's stay positive and on the wonderful topic that we all love: Nintendo!
2) Do not post inappropriate, offensive, or graphic images, links, words, or phrases!
There are all kinds of places that one can go on the internet to see offensive/inappropriate images, phrases, or words. This forum is not one of them! Posting such things results in an immediate ban. There is no appeal and no reversal. Let's keep things on-topic. Yay Nintendo!
3) Do not troll on our forum,
we will remove you immediately if we believe you are trolling us or any of our members. As we already said, there are all kinds of places that allow trolling and we are not one of them.
4) Always be courteous to others on this forum!
Again, if you do not like to be courteous to others, by all means go elsewhere. There must be many places on the internet where one can go to find rude, uncourteous people. We are Nintendo fans! We hold ourselves to a higher standard than the average non-Nintendo playing person, do we not? We wish for all persons who love Nintendo to feel welcome here...always! Cyberbullying, hatred, flaming and the like are never acceptable here. Do not do it! We will ban you immediately, it is a certainty.
These are the rules, so of course, there can always be more. There probably will be more-sooner or later. But, for now, let's just try to use these as a guideline, so to speak, and maybe we won't have to make anymore rules.
