Hello all Nintendo fans everywhere! I'm ChibiChan12, the main administrator of this site, as you probably already know. I'm very sorry for the delay on this thread, which will be talking about everything to do with Nintendo's latest Direct, it seems I didn't have the time to write this up until now. Again, sorry for being late on this.
Anyway, Nintendo officially had a Direct just a couple days ago, where they announced many games that will be releasing soon for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, some of them being Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII remakes for 3DS, free Pokemon Picross for 3DS, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U-Yes, you heard me! Twilight Princess, originally for the Nintendo GameCube and Wii, will be getting a 10 year anniversary remake for Wii U with better graphics, along with a new Wolf Link amiibo! The new Wolf Link amiibo will come packaged with this console remake coming March 4, 2016. Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that the data from the Twilight Princess HD Wolf Link amiibo would be carried over to the upcoming 2016 Zelda U game in some way.
Nintendo also announced the release date of the latest Star Fox game coming to Wii U, Star Fox Zero! Star Fox Zero was originally supposed to release last October but was delayed until 2016. This was all we knew until Nintendo's most recent Direct, where they said that the game will be released on the 22nd of April, 2016 in North America. Producer Shigeru Miyamoto stated that Nintendo could release Star Fox Zero this year but needed "to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing."
Also, Nintendo revealed Cloud, from Final Fantasy VII and other Final Fantasy games, to be the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS! They also announced that a special broadcast for SSBU/3DS will be coming this December! You can find out more about this here, where I talk more about this announcement.
Nintendo also revealed a brand new Legend of Zelda character, Linkle, among other characters from The Wind Waker, as a new DLC character for Hyrule Warriors Legends! Hyrule Warriors Legends is a 3DS version of the original Hyrule Warriors for Wii U that will release in North America on March 25, 2016. Linkle will have a crossbow as her main weapon and her special move is a "spinning kick attack". The other upcoming DLC characters are characters from the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker game, Link, Tetra, and the King of Red Lions, which they announced at their E3 Digital Event last June.
They also announced other things, like more DLC for Splatoon, more amiibo figures coming in January, Fire Emblem Fates having two different versions, original Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow versions coming to 3DS eShop, Super Mario Maker getting a way to make searching levels easier, and more Indie game titles.
I hope you enjoyed this thread and most importantly, the latest Nintendo Direct! The main things I liked about this Direct was Twilight Princess HD, the Cloud DLC character reveal for Super Smash Bros. 4, and the Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC character news, but what did you like about it? What exactly do you think of the whole Direct in general? Did you think it was great or terrible? Feel free to leave your thoughts on Nintendo's most recent Direct in a reply below, if you want! I would love to hear it. Thank you for reading, I can't wait to hear your responses! See you soon!

P.S.: I will be putting the pictures for the Direct in the replies below, because I can't fit them all in this thread.
