Hi KB44 and thanks for the question. There are so many games that have been produced over the years that I am not sure if I can do this! Still, I must press on! I guess we are not including Indie games, right? It wouldn't matter anyway because I don't think I have played many, if any, Indie games. A long time ago there was this really popular game called Pitfall that was really boring. You just jumped over these really badly made holes in the ground using this whip-thing. There was this cheesy sound that happened every time that you jumped a pitfall. I have played this on a very old Atari system. I got it for like 5 bucks at Vintage Stock thinking it might be fun. Each screen is exactly like the one before with very few exceptions.
Now, there were even worse games from that time period but what else would you expect? From the more modern era I would say Kirby Air Ride from GC was not too good for me. Also, I didn't really like the Fox game with Crystal which was also GC.
For reasons unknown, The Matrix game was awful when it should have been decent, at least.
Another bad game was F1 for GC. It looked like fun but was impossible to unlock anything due to the extreme difficulty level.
I got a lot smarter after some of these awful games and stopped buying them unless I had seen a positive review (several actually) for the game.
Now, for the absolute worst game from any generation...
Superman for Atari. I dare you to play this game (if you are able) because it is beyond terrible. You must experience this to see just how bad it really is!
There you have it KB44 and others. I hope someone else elaborates on this a little bit.
